"So don't think about it too much. I believe Elliot has his ways." Hayes narrowed his eyes at Zaiden and Hazel before saying, "You should not be talking about something like this here. Anyone can hear you both."
Zaiden rolled his eyes, dismissing Hayes' concern. "Come on, Hayes, you're being paranoid. It's not like anyone cares about what we're saying." He glanced around and smiled. "There is no one at this time roaming out of their room." Zaiden didn't buy his warning and brushed it off.
"Maybe Zaiden's right," she whispered hesitantly, "but we can't be too careful. Elliot's methods are secretive, and we don't want to risk exposing ourselves or our plans." Hayes nodded in agreement, his expression serious.
"We need to remember that we're dealing with powerful forces here. The less attention we draw to ourselves, the better." Zaiden sighed, realising that maybe Hayes had a point.
