Lauren was confused as to why the others were acting like they didn't know about demons, but she realized that maybe there wasn't actually a demon last night and it was just them. She heard Alara ask something. "It's so strange how students can look beaten that badly. What happened to them then?" She took pity on them, but Lauren was sure if she dared to tell them about the night and what they tried to do to her, she would not just beat them but kill them.
