After breaking the clutches of time, the frozen time around a group of Cavern Cats returned to move normally. The Cavern Cats were appalled to see their enemy had not been affected and he was already swinging his sword. They moved, yes. They leapt to the air with the aim of ripping the guy apart but their danger signals screamed to them even before their attack connected.
The sword in Lazy Wafula's hand slashed through the clutches of friction like nothing. His sword was only able to slash through the primary friction but that was enough to up its speed to be more than that of the Cavern Cats. To the cats, the sword was not even there because it moved very fast in that it didn't even left an after image behind.
Don't look down on breaking the barrier of the primary friction, that can give one an added speed that could not be imagined.
