Gwent had a mark of the heavens on his forehead which had a dim white glow. Ryan didn't know if he was just affected by the mark only or also his soul space was also closed down by the threee sigils as the guy doesn't know how to access his soul space, or does he not have such a thing in his mind? He didn't know whether those sigils in his soul space may affect him or not which was making him even more anxious.
Lolie had the mark of the demons on her forehead because she was the carrier of the demons insignia. Her mark had a dim red flamy glow with a mixture of some dark energy. He himself came to know from them that his forehead was marked with an apple mark which was releasing some red wriggling worms which were going back and forth while releasing some dark red energy from their skin.
