Chapter 34 - ABSOLUTE ABILITY LEVEL 1 ACQUIRED

He removed his consciousness from his soul space and meditated on everything he had read.

Mortal realm, an illusion stage where cultivators on this realm are deemed as amateur experts. Cultivators perception is still locked and veiled in darkness like a new born. That's why it was also refered the first step into cultivation.

At this realm, his body will be strengthen with the nourishment of the spiritual energy thus, developing their organs and bones to perfection from their previous weaker self.

He was required to open the root acumen as the main center of power according to the first Ayurveda element thus, laying the very ground of cultivation.

Furthermore ,he will need to overcome his fear and inner evil desires with a strong will to charge bravely to any trial in order to pass over this ground stage.

Ryan went into deep tranquil meditation and became one with the environment. Even if someone saw him, they may think he was a sculpture because of his stillness like a lifeless object. At this moment, he can see it on his pelvic floor: Root acumen.

Root acumen was circle shaped with many capillaries branching from it towards his whole body. In the acumen, there were numerous tiny cogwheels which were not in motion as expected.

He had to follow the path explained in the book to force the cogwheels to spin.

He drew the spiritual energy around ravenously leading it through the nodules in the acumen.

Shhhh! Shhhh!

Impurities and dirt came out of his pores releasing a pungent smell reforming his body as the cogwheels spin.

" Ding "

" Absolute ability level 1 acquired. "

" Body has reached 20 percent perfection.

" 10 percent cultivation path opened. "

" Host can now aquire mortal level abilities..."

His cultivation came to a halt as he completely opened the root acumen. Even if his current realm didn't move up a tier, he had gained the ability of absorbing other abilities of mortal tier level. His body had also hardened rivaling those of mortal realm.

He moved his consciousness back to his soul space and looked at his current status on the lectern.

Although he spent more than twenty years in that dimension, only two years had passed in the immortal plane. " Mr Blind will surely not come back. How am I going to survive here? "

He opened his eyes and observed the changes of his body. His skin had become smooth and delicate almost close to that of the white robed man he encountered at the reincarnation space.

"How long had I been meditating? Can it be weeks or several days? He was bewildered. He yawned every time due to hunger and exhaustion he was feeling.

He scanned his surroundings hoping to spot any life as living lonely for all those years was driving him mad but only the feeling of being watched existed. For some reasons that he didn't know, no being had appeared at the giant gate to try their luck. He can now only depend on himself to get out of this planet.

" To get out safely, I will need to be even more powerful than the beings that are staring at me. "

gru! gruu!

His stomach growled. " Hungry? I haven't ate for a long time. I will head to the north to search for some food instead of waiting here like a fool. " He left the area of the large gate disappointedly. The rock which he had sat on turned from white to gray, something that he didn't realize as his mind was too focused on finding the way out.

Ryan had been walking for a long time on the deserted planet and from all that time, he had not met any living. The only thing that accompany him was the eerily sounds that had become even more agitated as he moved further.

Even after walking for more than five hundred kilometers he didn't feel exhausted because of tempering his body that now felt as light as a feather. He didn't know how many days he had been walking for, for there was no day on that planet. The only source of light was the giant gate whose light had been fading slowly as he moved further away from the gate.

He walked for such a long distance that he can't take it anymore and collapsed wearyingly on the blue sand. He was in tattered clothing which he had picked up on his way here making him appear like a beggar especially when complimented with his pale face as if he had lost too much blood.

From where he was, the light had become even dimmer almost cancelling out completely. The darkness was struggling to take the place where the light had weakened. It was as if the darkness was sentiently moving towards the dim light like smoke before fading.
