Ryan stretched his hand to reach the heavenly being but when his hand was only a minute away from his domain, strands of dark red energy entered through every pore of his skin like microscopic heavy wires drilling into his body.

His knees buckled bringing him to the floor while still grunting painfully ...
The dark energy itself had the air of suppression of the heavens, how can he a mere ordinary being bear the pressure of the entire world?
His body was ripped to shreds leaving behind countless independent cells which were then integrated together after they were successfully analyzed. Ryan was again molded back to his usual self as if nothing had happened to him in the first place...
The space around Ryan's consciousness changed, bringing the dazed Ryan to the real world.
"Why am I absent minded, wait I was undergoing a test to join the academy, wasn't I ? "
He had completely forgotten what had happened to him in the space of the pendant as his memories of that place were completely wiped out.
He looked around for the instructors and what he saw left him even more confused with questions popping in his mind.
They all had frightened and fearful looks plastered on their faces, almost wetting their pants as if they had came out of a horrifying nightmare.
They didn't even dare to breath loudly in front of him. His glance alone was enough to make their hearts stop beating.
" Why are they scared? Did I turn into a monste?" Ryan touched his face to confirm his suspicion before he caught something on his forehead.
The pendant was still there without its chain, stuck completely on his skull becoming a part of him.
Its dull appearance was replaced by a sparkling of red like a precious stone. He remember clearly the pendant shuttering then the next instance the people around him expressed fearfulness towards him.
Ooh! so it's the change in appearance of the pendant that had surprised them, but why are they scared?
He is the one that should be scared because the pendant integrated with him, alright.
He will now have to find the white robed man from the reincarnation space to fix him. But how he will go there was totally a nightmare, after all, there was no direct route that leads there. All connections from the Immortal plane to the other side were cut.
Right now, he will have to become stronger and benevolent to the Immortal plane by offering his contributions to get a chance to join the prodigies of that world.
He turned to madam Ross and said, " actually what I wanted to..."
"You passed the test... yes... you passed. " Madam Ross interjected, respect and admiration flashing on her face.

When Ryan touched the pendant, his disposition changed to a different being, dark red energy came out of his pores like steam bringing its destructive pressure along with it in to the room.
Several pods couldn't take it anymore and they shattered to countless pieces while the people in the room felt like they were carrying the entire building on their shoulders.
Several of their bones fractured due to the restrain as they sweat buckets and trembled in fear.
The air in the room moved in a whirlwind around Ryan bringing chaos and distortion of space itself. It was like Ryan had become a younger version of that person in the pendant, staring at the mortals with a nonchalant, indifferent expression without a care for their measly lives...
It was like an Armageddon had descended.
It only happened in a minute but to them, it felt like an entire lifetime...
They can not help but heave a sigh of relief when the pressure dissipated while breathing heavily like they have come from a marathon .
" That was so close. "
Ryan then opened his eyes seeing their frightened faces with a confused look.

The aura that they had felt from Ryan could only originate from two places ; the heavens and hell.
How can such a person be ordinary?
If he was ordinary, who were they?
They sure are gutsy to dare breathe loudly in front of such a person.
" I hope nobody will run their mouth about what has happened here. " Mr Charles reminded them. After all, this was big news, a deity in their midst and they dared to test his potential, are they stupid?
How can a deity be tested by the measly mortal tools, they can not compute his endless potential, alright? He is beyond their common sense.
Seeing them change in the way they were interacting with him, Ryan sighed. He just wanted to find a place and sleep to calm his throbbing headache that had started assaulting him, then he will ask them why they changed their mind abruptly later.
" Ooh my gosh! Ryan is so handsome, I didn't realize it earlier but now that I am staring at him closely, I find him so so stunning. "
