The violent explosion erupted, launching Jerouch and his companions skyward, only to send them hurtling back down, their bodies colliding with the unyielding, unforgiving terrain adorned with jagged thorns.

Jerouch bore the brunt of the impact, bearing the weight of severe lacerations etching a brutal tapestry upon his face and exposed flesh. 

Each tear, each cut, drew forth a wince of agony as he acutely felt the frigid thorns rending his skin.

His gaze darted around, his thoughts momentarily muddled, until a moment of clarity pierced through the fog of confusion.

Casting a glance over his shoulder, he furrowed his brow as his discerning eyes caught sight of the vanishing ominous aura, dissipating abruptly in the aftermath of the explosion.
