'Good, what great luck I have,' Jerouch mumbled, petrified in his tracks.
Behind him, a frenzied goblin king was about to catch up to him, and before him…
A giant mountain worm lay in the distance. The worm had most of his body buried in the sand, but half of his body was out in the open.
His brown, scaly skin blended well with the rocky terrain as he basked in the soft early sunlight of the dawn.
The worm had no eyes, instead, he had two holes in the place his eyes were supposed to be coupled with a pair of antennae.
As soon as he detected the intruder's presence, the antennas suddenly straightened up in high alert, glancing in Jerouch's direction.
Jerouch even forgot to breathe as he saw the worm looking in his direction.
He racked his brain, thinking of how to come out of the situation, but nothing feasible came to his head.
