Jerouch, observing the battle from a distance, had even forgotten to breathe. Zephyr, wearing an expressionless face, watched with his lifeless eyes.

No one knew what he was thinking, but Jerouch knew that the death of the black wolf had affected Zephyr immensely.

But Jerouch didn't have time to ponder over Zephyr's predicament. Right now, he furrowed his eyes, wondering what would happen next.

A little bit back in time, Amice, the shamaness, had noticed the sword formation too, just like everyone else. However, it was already too late, and trying to save Ezel from such a distance didn't seem feasible.
