"Mr. Alexander, please save Isolde. We're willing to pay any price..." Magnus pleaded, wiping away tears.
Watching his beloved sister grow weaker day by day had been agonizing, and he felt utterly helpless.
Now, he had found a glimmer of hope, and he wouldn't let it go.
"...Take me to her first. I need to assess her condition," Alexander said.
"Thank you, Mr. Alexander! Thank you!" Magnus's face lit up with joy.
An hour later, Magnus and Alexander arrived at the Arcanvale Empire in the northern region of the Arsen continent.
Magnus led Alexander deep into the empire, to a secluded castle, and up to the second floor.
"Isolde is inside."
Magnus pushed open the door.
Two servants were tending to Isolde.
They bowed respectfully upon seeing Magnus.
"Your Highness, Isolde's condition is worsening," one of the servants whispered.
Magnus's heart clenched as he looked at Isolde lying in bed.
