Ella suddenly felt a heavy weight pressing on her, as if her bones were about to break apart.
"Ah..."
She let out a moan of pain, loud enough to be heard.
Outside the room, an elderly woman who was mopping the floor heard the noise and wore a peculiar expression on her face.
"Don't...ah..."
Another whimper followed by a plea for mercy. The old woman paused in her cleaning and looked towards Alexander's room.
...
In the room, seeing Ella struggling, Alexander ceased his elemental force.
"Now, can we talk properly?" Alexander asked.
Ella collapsed onto Alexander's bed, panting heavily with a pale face and covered in sweat.
She felt as if her entire body was being squeezed together, on the verge of exploding and dying.
She never wanted to experience that feeling again in her life.
"I'll ask again, where did you learn your enchantment?" Alexander asked indifferently.
