Amelia stepped out of the room, followed by a sleepy Ashlyn rubbing her eyes.
Indeed, Ashlyn had the mind of a child; in just one day, she had grown dependent on Amelia.
"I need to step out for a bit, might take a couple of days," Alexander said, looking at Ashlyn. "Keep an eye on her for me during this time."
"Okay," Amelia nodded.
Alexander turned and walked to the balcony, leaping off and flying into the distance.
