As dawn broke, Alexander was roused by the sounds of commotion coming from the guest room next door.
Taking his time, Alexander got out of bed, freshened up in the bathroom, and then made his way to the living room where he poured himself a glass of water before approaching the guest room door.
Upon opening the door, he saw Vivienne, her hands and feet bound, desperately struggling on the floor like a fish out of water.
"Engaging in such vigorous exercise so early in the morning isn't really good for your health," Alexander remarked with a smile as he watched Vivienne.
Vivienne lifted her head, her purple eyes glaring intensely at Alexander.
Waking up to find herself bound in an unfamiliar environment and unable to use her internal energy, her heart sank.
Recalling the last moments before she lost consciousness, she realized that she was most likely in Alexander's hands now.
This realization filled her with despair.
