Donovan's body swelled increasingly, his muscles glowing with a grey light, as hard as rock itself. Simultaneously, his face underwent a drastic transformation—from the ordinary student's visage to a bizarre appearance with deep-set eye sockets and a sharp, protruding chin.
From a distance, Donovan resembled a massive grey gorilla; no one would mistake him for a human being.
"Arrrooo..."
Donovan let out a long howl to the sky and charged again towards Quinn's position.
Quinn wiped the fresh blood from the corner of his mouth, stretched out his hands, and formed a magical seal, then clapped them together.
"Boom!"
Just as Donovan was about to reach Quinn, the ground beneath his feet exploded violently.
Donovan's swollen body was thrown to the side.
