The knock on the door interrupted Alexander's train of thought.
With a slight furrow of his brows, Alexander opened the door to find Jace, clad in full armor, standing outside.
Jace, upon seeing who opened the door, looked puzzled, then took a couple of steps back, as if doubting he had come to the right place.
"I'm Alexander. Come in," Alexander said.
"Mr. Alexander, how did you..." It was only upon hearing the voice that Jace could confirm the person before him was indeed Alexander.
But Alexander's appearance had completely changed from before!
"I had some matters to attend to and disguised myself," Alexander explained, turning to head towards the bathroom.
Jace entered the apartment and saw Susan lying unconscious on the sofa, his eyes filled with confusion.
Moments later, Alexander, having washed off his disguise, emerged from the bathroom.
"Mr. Alexander, who is this...?"
