The next day, Alexander left Ella's room, ready to hit the streets in search of a restaurant for a meal. After walking for about ten minutes, he spotted a noodle shop nearby and decided to step in.
The place was modestly decorated, a small establishment at best. Despite it being lunchtime, there were no other customers in sight.
Alexander took a seat at a table. A boy, who looked no older than ten and was remarkably cute, approached with a menu in hand, placing it in front of Alexander. Glancing behind him, Alexander noticed the owner busy in the kitchen.
"What would you like to eat?" the boy asked, looking up at Alexander with bright, sparkling eyes and a youthful voice.
"What's your specialty?" Alexander inquired, looking back at the boy.
"The beef noodles my dad makes are the best," the boy replied.
"Then I'll have a large bowl of the beef noodles," Alexander stated.
