Is this an illusion?
Alexander froze the moment he realized this.
What had he just eaten? Wasn't it roasted corn?
Looking down, Alexander found the roasted corn in his hand had turned into an ordinary apple.
"Thankfully, it's not something disgusting," Alexander thought, feeling relieved.
"Hey, old man, what's this?" Alexander looked up and asked.
The person standing before him could no longer be called an old man. To describe him as a monster wouldn't be an exaggeration.
His hair stood on end, his eyes bulged grotesquely, nearly popping out of their sockets, filled with bloodshot veins.
His mouth opened wide, revealing sharp, pointed fangs and a long tongue, reminiscent of a venomous snake.
The eerie atmosphere around him, along with the two pythons tightly coiled at his feet, would usually be enough to faint anyone with fear.
Thus, the old man was taken aback by Alexander's calm inquiry.
