Currently Christine was in a medium-sized room provided by William for her.
It had been three days since she arrived, and so far she had been treated quite well.
However, even so, Christine looked agitated and unsettled.
In the afternoon, a woman with a beautiful face and pale skin kept walking back and forth in her room.
Christine furrowed her forehead, trying hard to think of what steps she should take going forward, because she really didn't know what else to do.
She didn't even think about going outside to get some fresh air or look around the beautiful flower garden. She had to focus on finding a new plan.
A plan to seduce William!
Christine thought her plan to get closer to the Queen was perfect, but now everything had failed miserably.
"Why of all the humans that exist, that stupid vampire has to prey on the Queen?!" Christine thought in great annoyance, feeling that the vampire had messed up her plans.
She admitted that the Queen's appearance was classy, but the woman was old and her blood definitely wasn't that delicious. So, why the Queen?!
"Focus, Christine! It happened! You better think about your future fate!" Christine thought, trying not to dwell on what had happened and instead focus on the future.
Finally, Christine decided to sit on the edge of the very big and soft chair because her feet had been pacing up and down the room since earlier.
Christine's gaze then subconsciously glanced at the plate of food that Nora had brought her that morning, which she had not touched at all.
Another sigh left Christine's red lips. She still had more to think about - not the food humans eat, but the food she eats in order to survive, or at least stay sane.
She had enough on her plate worrying about her plans to seduce William, but she also had to consider how she would survive.
"Why did my life suddenly become like this?" muttered Christine under her breath. The woman lay her body on the very large chair, staring at the ceiling of her room, which looked much more beautiful than the place where she lived before.
After all, she just wanted freedom, to see the outside world, because all this time she was not allowed out by her parents. Now, she could go out and take a walk, but sadly, she hadn't gained her freedom yet.
"Are dad and mom okay?" thought Christine, who subconsciously began to think about the situation of her parents, who were being held captive by Cassius.
Were they given food by the bastard? Were they being treated well?
Despite feeling upset with her parents for locking her up under the pretext of keeping her safe, they were still her parents and Christine couldn't just throw them away.
While Christine was contemplating her sudden fate, the door to her room was suddenly opened by someone, and the woman who had been serving her for three days, Nora, came into the room.
"Lady Christine!" exclaimed Nora with a happy expression.
"What's up with this human?" Christine thought, changing her position to sit down and looking at her maid with a confused expression.
Although Christine was initially wary of Nora, she had slowly begun to open her heart to her, perhaps because Nora treated her well and was a little cute.
Christine herself was confused about how she was feeling right now, but what was clear was that she felt quite comfortable with the woman.
"What is it?" Christine asked, looking at the woman who couldn't stop smiling.
"If you're going to force me to eat again, you already know that I don't want to," Christine said before Nora could start telling her to eat again like she did that morning.
Sometimes Nora could be a little chatty and act like her mother who nagged her..
"N-No, that's not it, Lady Christine!" said Nora, shaking her head hastily.
The woman's attitude looked a little awkward, making Christine look at her with suspicious eyes.
"Then what is it?" Christine asked with a tired expression. Right now, she had to figure out her plans, so she needed some peace of mind, and Nora was not someone who could give her that peace of mind.
"His Highness wants to see you!" Nora said in a hushed scream, a big smile on her face.
"His Highness?" Christine asked, frowning. She had absolutely no idea who Nora was talking about.
Who was His Highness? She didn't know the name of such a person.
"Ah! I mean, Crown Prince William!" Nora explained, still looking pleased.
Christine's eyes widened when she heard that name.
"What?! William, ah, Crown Prince William wants to see me?!" Christine asked again, unable to hide her surprise.
Nora nodded her head enthusiastically.
"Why?" asked Christine, who subconsciously blurted out the question.
During her three-day stay, William completely ignored Christine and never once came to see her.
They only briefly met at the Queen's funeral, and even then, when she was pretending to cry, William didn't even greet or talk to her.
That's why seducing William seemed very difficult for Christine because he didn't seem to be interested in her
And now William suddenly wants to see her?
"I-I don't know either," said Nora, suddenly sounding nervous and awkward.
"Anyway, Lady Christine, this is not the time to waste sitting around like this! We have to get you ready to look absolutely stunning!" Nora exclaimed with excitement, changing the subject quickly.
Christine gave Nora a suspicious look, but ultimately decided to ignore it.
What Nora said was true; she had to get ready to meet William!
Christine excitedly rummaged through her wardrobe, trying on several outfits until she found the perfect black dress that made her feel like a really really pretty.
Red was also a tempting option since it is also her favorite color, but after catching a glimpse of her reflection, Christine knew that black was the way to go.
It accentuated her curves, highlighting her elegance and beauty.
She just looks stunning in black!
Nora had suggested the yellow dress that William had given her, but Christine vehemently declined.
Of course, she would look pretty in anything, but today she wanted to wear black.
After three days, Christine finally emerged from her room and walked down the palace hallway, following Nora's directions as she walked behind her.
Christine's mind raced with curiosity and a hint of worry as she tried to guess why William wanted to see her so suddenly.
"Wait a minute, isn't this a good chance?" Christine suddenly realized something. "All this time, I never had the chance to meet him again. I have to use this opportunity to make him crazy about me!"
A sly smile spread across her face as she eagerly anticipated her upcoming meeting with William. This was her moment to shine, and she was determined to make the most of it.
After all, this was a different Christine than the one who first came to the palace with a dirty robe.
Wouldn't William easily be crazy about her because right now she looks so stunning and pretty?
