"Mhm, Mr. Krauze, it's me, David Krosny. Sorry to disturb you on Sunday..."
"No problem." Felix's voice seemed to relax a little, but only a little. "What can I do for you, Mr. David?"
Suddenly his doubts subsided. Should he question Krauze? Or should he trust Gustav? I mean he trusted Gustav, he was just so worried about him.
"Mr. Krauze, is there something going on that I don't know about?"
Silence answered him. David had the feeling that he had asked something he shouldn't have asked.
"Are you asking if I know why Gustav stayed in Norway?"
"Yes."
He sensed hesitation on the other side.
"Yes. I know, and I guess why he didn't tell you everything."
So there was something more after all! David began to tremble with anxiety.
"Is Gustav... Is he safe?"
Again a moment of silence answered him.
"Safe? Oh yes, he is, he is not in any immediate danger, but..."
