Gustav, however, did not look at him as something foul, but as someone extremely dear to him.
"But that doesn't detract from your value in my eyes," Gustav announced. "It was bad for me when I found out that you had started dating another, but after all, I had not yet asked you to be mine at that time. So instead of blaming yourself, you should blame me for arousing your fantasies and body and leaving you alone. You should blame me for my tardiness."
"Please, don't joke like that," smiled David palely. "After all, I knew that you were not serious about me..."
Well, yes, of course, Gustav didn't give him an ounce of confidence in his intentions at the time.
