Well, seemingly so, David had to admit to himself while sitting down to work in front of the computer. His mother was probably right when she said that friendship and love should be built slowly. His relationship with Greg rather quickly and just as unexpectedly entered a more serious track than mere casual acquaintance. Perhaps it was a bit too fast after all?
His smartphone buzzed and David glanced at the text message. 'Good morning, Baby, are you up yet?'
David gnashed his teeth. He had agreed yesterday to that unfortunate 'baby' but something in him rebelled at the thought of being called that way. He is not, heck, no baby. He's a grown man. Maybe 'baby' would have sounded sweet to him if the relationship between him and Greg had been deeper, more emotional, not just encounters aimed at nice fun with mutual use of male body parts. If there had been emotional closeness between them, maybe the word would have sounded different in David's ears....
