Synopsis
Salem, Massachusetts is notorious for its past witch hunts. It's also home to the many witches who had been able to slip past the hangings and teach their descendants true magick. Magicka Lovelin, her mother Bridget, and her grandmother Catherine, are three of those descendants. Bridget is a full time kitchen witch with an obsession for spices and an amazing intuition, and Catherine is a Catholic hedge witch that works with the Blessed Infant on a daily basis. Magicka on the other hand hadn't devoted herself to a specific practice, so hers is what most witches call eclectic. Magicka and her best friend, Sage, are seniors at the Academy of Forbidden Knowledge and Samhain* is just around the corner. The best time of year for witches across the world. A time to show both kindness and mourning for lost souls and help them pass. But while rumors among the witches spread of The Fruit's coming, Magicka simultaneously begins to see faults that have corrupted the lives of so many people. And what she will become could shake every rock on earth. *Samhain (SaOW-wen)

Chapter 1 - Act 1: Lucifer Knows

Honey, don't you know that I don't want this anymore

Honey, when you're onto me

I can't think more than I know I should

Honey, out of all the faces that you see

Am I the one that you hate?

But god is the reason, right?

For all the "love" I've received

I hope it felt good, I hope it felt good

I hope it felt good, I hope it felt good

I hope it felt good, god, I hope it felt good

Seeing your ray of sunlight leave.

Only Lucifer knows what I saw

Ain't it ironic the part he plays?

Although he's your enemy

I found my true hero finally.

The god of knowledge is all I crave

And in his arms, in his arms I'll lay.

And after all this time I still don't hate you,

But you're the gods that marijuana prays to.

I hope it felt good, I hope it felt good

I hope it felt good, I hope it felt good

I hope it felt good, god, I hope it felt good

Seeing your ray of sunlight fade.

And on the full moon nights

I can feel his eyes

And when the days turned cold as night

That's when he began to never tell me lies.

I hope it felt good, I hope it felt good

I hope it felt good, I hope it felt good

I hope it felt good, god, I hope it felt good

Seeing your ray of sunlight walk away.
