Just then, Chronos noticed a message on his CommsWatch, since leaving Aion City, he hadn't used much of it.
The UAT headquarters blocked out all external communications and within, everyone was too busy training to send messages.
Chronos wearily pressed the button on his CommsWatch, the fatigue evident in his movements. The holographic interface shimmered to life, displaying a message that had been waiting for him, unnoticed until now.
Chronos stared at the flickering hologram of Sophia, his weariness momentarily replaced by a surge of concern.
"Chronos! I have left the UAT to reinforce the Empire of Astral and help Athena, the cyborgs of Technia launched a planet wide attack on the allied nations while the entire UAT was in the Simulation arena."
The holographic Sophia was perceptibly laced with worry.
