Five cadets were laughing and jeering as they chased after Taotie, their powers overwhelming him at every turn. One of them shouted out,
"Look at the fatty run!! Roll!! Maybe you can move faster that way! HAHAHA"
Another one cackled and said,
"He's not even worth our time. This is too easy."
Taotie tried to evade their attacks, but his movements were sluggish, and he was clearly injured.
The cadets continued to toy with him, blasting him with dimensional energy and watching him squirm.
"Run Fatty Run!! HAHAHA!"
yelled another cadet, as they closed in on him.
Chronos set Megaera down behind him and turned toward Taotie.
Chronos felt a burning anger in his chest as he watched Taotie being hunted down like an animal, mocked and tormented by his attackers.
But before he could react, a spear pierced through TaoTie's heart from behind, dissolving him into a burst of data particles.
He turned back to Megaera, his eyes filled with rage and said,
"Stay back, let me handle this…"
