The rest of the day yesterday was pretty boring. Nothing happened. I decided to stay in my room for the rest of the day so one of the maids came up with food for me to eat when I got hungry. My parents didn't fight against it. I guess they didn't want to talk to me either at the moment.
So after I ate dinner and changed my dress into something comfier, I went to bed immediately but I wasn't able to get any sleep at all. Just the thought of someone who could have intentions to hurt me having access to my bedroom is terrifying. So I was up all night staring at my door in case someone tried to get in the room while I was asleep.
Luckily, no one did. At least it's morning now.
I sit up and swing both my legs over the edge of my bed and stand up on the fluffy carpet laid over the whole floor. I stretch as usual and decide that I would not eat breakfast today because of the incident that happened yesterday. I just can bear another day with King Philip.
*sigh
I walk over to the big closet and see a gorgeous orange colored dress I haven't worn since last year. I put it on and do a little spin. It was much comfier than the other dresses I usually wear so I decided that this would be my outfit for the day.
"I should spend the day in the garden," I say out loud. I wasn't there yesterday so it would be a great way to get my mind on something else. Everything that has been happening recently is very overwhelming.
I unlock and open the door to my bedroom and walk down the stairs. it was still pretty early so there were only a few guards in the corridor. I was happy about that but I can still feel their stairs following me down the hallway. It felt like someone was shooting daggers into my back.
The feeling was killing me.
I started to pick up my past and swiftly went out of the back door that lead to the garden to get away from the awful and judgmental feeling.
Almost immediately as I stepped out, one of the birds that sat on the tree flew down and gently landed on my finger. I chuckled and smiled warmly at it.
"Well hello, little one. I'm guessing by your reaction that you have missed me?" the little bird moved its wings a bit and let out a beautiful singing tone from its peak. I laughed again.
I slowly started walking further into the garden and took a seat beneath the big tree where the birds usually sit. The only sound that could be heard out here was the wind whispers and the birds singing as if they were telling me a story I couldn't quit understanding. But, it was yet so beautiful in a way.
I sat there with my eyes closed until I eventually fell asleep in the warmth of the sun shining down on us from above.

I have no idea how long I was out but I realized it must have been a while when I saw the night sky full of small shining dots we call stars. I looked at the little golden clock I have around my neck. I have it with me at all times.
"eleven fifty-nine...why does it feel like I should be remembering something.?" the memory of the letter hit me like a truck. That guy... He was going to meet me here at midnight which is in one minute. If I stay here, who knows what will happen to me?
"I have to hurry back into the castle before he arrives." I use all the strength I have left in my legs and force myself to stand back up. I hurriedly started to walk to the door to get to the safety inside the castle.
"almost there." I ensure myself in an attempt to hold my cool.
I take a steady grip on the door handle and let out a sigh of relief thinking I was safe. But I then felt an unexpected hand lay on my shoulder. I froze up at the touch and could feel my legs getting weaker by the second. I slowly turn around to get a better look at the person. I couldn't see the person's face because it was covered with something but I could make out by the body features that it was a man.
Just at that moment, the door behind me swung wide open, and a group of maybe six guards ran out.
"let go of Princess Elvira! That's an order, sir!" I was too late to react when the mysterious man picked me up and started to run away. I was thrown into a big carriage. It soon started moving forward, I wasn't panicking but I was mad as hell. How dare that man throw me like that!?
"you unworthy peasant! That is not how you treat a-"
"calm down princess." he cut me off mid-sentence. How rude...
"what's your problem!? Who are you? Reveal your identity immediately! That's an order, Or else I'll make sure to-"
"Alright, alright, no need to scream you are making my ears bleed by your whining! Holy shit.."
I was shocked by his reaction but didn't say anything as he took off the black fabric covering his face. He turned around and I was met with a pair of serious blue eyes staring right into my soft honey brown once.
He had pretty long black hair and I'm not gonna lie, he was pretty handsome. But I can't like him, he is my kidnapper!
"Happy?" I got snapped back into reality by him starting to talk.
"uhh. No, I need answers. Yes, answers! Who exactly are you and what do you need from me? Is it money?"
"No"
"are you going to kill me!?"
"What!? No! Why would I want to do that!?"
"wait, but if you don't want anything and you don't want to kill me... Then why exactly did you kidnap me?"
"to save you."
"save me from what exactly?"
"King Philip."
"my father?.."
"you're in great danger, Elvira."
