Bowen then rose from his kneeling position to sit atop the throne, the glimmering crown on his head. Now it was time for the new king to speak. Most of the ministers present didn't expect much. Even if this kid could fight, so what? What did he know about politics? They assumed he would mostly enjoy the title and fame, bossing around his servants. What else could he do? This was what they had in mind.
But they didn't know that the one sitting on the throne was not an innocent boy of eight years old. He was someone with ambition, a dictator who wouldn't blink an eye to shed blood for his goals. They would learn this soon enough.
"First and foremost," Bowen started, "I am so disappointed." His words shocked everyone.
