"What can you do, kid?" asked Marvin, not taking Bowen lightly.
"What else? Let's up the stage, shall we?" Bowen asked with an amusing look on his face.
"Up the what? What nonsense!" scowled Marvin. "A kid like you is going to save Fendrie? Ha! What a joke."
"Then you should really see if I am joking or not, Minister Marvin," Bowen replied without waiting for a response. He subsequently turned and went towards the monster gathering.
"Princess!" Bowen called, and immediately the angelic Shira of Fendrie walked slowly, adorning her leather armor.
"What's a fragile girl and hairless kid going to do together? Tch tch, Kladus, you even decided to sacrifice your daughter to the monsters? Ha, how cruel," said Marvin, sitting alongside Kladus uninvited.
"Minister Marvin, I believe you have your own resting tent. Why come to Fendrie's?"
"Come on, Kladus, don't be a spoilsport. Wouldn't it be good if we can bet on whose side is going to win?"
