"I am okay, cough! Cough... Don't cry too much, Leonnie dear. Look at your pretty face," said Kladus, wiping away his wife's tears. He was still thin but but his skin looked better than before. the blue veins completely disappeared indicating there was no poison. He had enough strength to get up and have decent conversation.
"You should look at your own state first. You gave all of us a heart attack there."
"Haha... I am sorry for letting you all suffer. Umm... the palace must be in chaos right now, hmm?"
"Don't worry about it. It was manageable. You know what, dear? Shira, our daughter, had been helping me with the taxes and stuff, and so has Diana too. It's more peaceful here than you think, so don't worry."
"Really? Shira did?"
"Yes, not only that, there is a good surprise for you when she comes here." As Leonnie completed her sentence, the doors opened to reveal Shira Bowen and Diana entering inside.
