The children sat horrified at the sight of a freshly burnt corpse before them. It had been hours since the incident had happened; Ferris or Cecil was nowhere to be found, even to care about Briar's dead body. The children could see how easily a person could die. Briar, who controlled and tormented them, was no longer alive, and the person who killed Briar was still among them.
Accident or not, now they knew Bowen had the capability to kill an F-ranker, and they were really wary of him. They didn't even dare to look in his direction.
