"I won't ask why you betrayed me. Actually, I don't give a damn about your loyalty. But tell me, Butler Nicholas. Are the things that you said about the treasure true? Is there even a treasure in the first place?" asked the Baroness, looking straight through Butler's eyes. It's a look given by a predator to its prey seconds before the feast.
"Find it yourself," said Nicholas daringly. He wouldn't be afraid of her intimidation.
SLAP
A loud slap reverberated throughout the hall, while Nicholas' left cheek turned red.
"You know what?" said Sasha, seated again on her luxurious couch. "I'm going to do just that. Find out. Find out what kind of traps you have laid behind my back," she said, her eyes slowly darting through the window where she could hear the noise of people gathering before the gates.
"Call Perrin," she ordered one of her men. "He is the perfect person to deal with the craziness outside."
