"Xander, place this letter in Jessi's hands," Lord Fate instructed, handing a white folded paper to Xander. Xander took the letter hesitantly, but he didn't dare glance at its contents. He just had to do what Lord Fate said.
"Bring your chief and show him Jessi's corpse," Lord Fate continued.
"Jessi's...?" Xander was cut off by Lord Fate.
"Just tell him that it was Raven Gang who killed Jessi and they ran away on seeing you," Lord Fate instructed, looking at Xander. Xander was confused about Lord Fate's intentions but still nodded. "Yes, my lord, I will do as you said."
"And Mason, you love alcohol, don't you?" Lord Fate asked.
Mason felt a shock run through his spine. "How did he know this? Am I going to be discarded for being an addict?" he wondered.
