When they reached Dylan's house, Lily brought Nidia to the master bedroom.
"Isn't your room the guest room? Why is it now the master bedroom?" Nidia had a general idea of where the master bedroom and the guest room should be located.
"Oh." came Lily's awkward response. Her eyes drifted to the side as she touched her cheek. "About that... Mr. Hudson doesn't really come home, so he lets me sleep in the master bedroom. Since he's rarely home, I moved in. It's winter now, and the master bedroom is facing the sun, so it's warmer. Yes. That's all."
As if fearing Nidia would notice something amiss, Lily kept sneakily glancing at Nidia as she repeated her explanation to both Nidia and herself.
However, Nidia did not even notice anything. By the end of the day, she was already exhausted.
