Nidia put on her coat and scarf meekly. She was about to pick up her bag when she saw Jackson staring at the number on the phone screen.
His face changed and it was much sexier, tough and cold. It became somber soon.
"I'm going to answer it."
Jackson spoke and lifted the empty hand and touched Nidia's head, as if to soothe her.
She nodded good-naturedly.
Jackson then turned and walked in the direction of the restaurant restroom.
His back was upright and broad, giving her a sense of security and pride.
