Dropping the kitchen knife, Nidia looked at her bleeding finger, ignored it, but hastily said replied, "No, leave her alone."

Jackson acceded faintly.

Seeing the wound on Nidia's finger, Luna shouted towards the outside, "Come quickly, Grandma. Nid's finger has been cut. It's bleeding!"

Luna's voice, neither high nor low, was heard on the phone.

"Don't meet her. I'll hang up now if there's nothing else. I'm preparing lunch." Nidia hung up, only to see her hand bleed.

Grandma got the medical kit.

Luna bandaged the wound carefully.

Nidia outstretched her index finger, the others curled into a fist, which brought a funny scene.

Her index finger, which pointed upwards, was wrapped up in layers of bandage, as if a large white mushroom grew from her fingertip.

They both looked at it and chuckled.
