Jackson lifted Nidia's sweaty, fair hand and placed it to his lips. He didn't feel disgusted by it at all, instead, he kissed it lovingly.
Nidia immediately pulled her hand away.
She felt her cheeks burning up, but her neck felt cold. Not understanding what this feeling was, she gulped, embarrassed of how flustered she looked.
Jackson, on the other hand, seemed to be in complete control over his emotions. His eyes were dark and quiet, and his heart was beating at a normal pace.
It felt as if she was the one pulling tricks to seduce him and he was the one who was dragged into the whole thing. He looked like he was a decent gentleman, like a pure saint.
"Jackson Cunningham... I'm being serious here. Can we not just be good parents to Bubsy? Can you not fantasize the impossible?"
She saw that he was just sitting there nonchalantly, yet still looking as elegant as ever. His gaze laid upon her as he asked, "What does the impossible involve?"
