Jackson's black SUV was parked at the side, so it wouldn't block anyone's way.
Jackson's long, slender fingers held on his burning cigarette.
The light smoke wafting out blurred his expression, making him even more unreadable.
He parted his lips and turned towards Nidia with a stern gaze. "Tell me when your grandmother's discharged. I'll pick both of you up."
Nidia opened the car door and stepped out. She replied dismissively, "I wouldn't want to trouble you."
Jackson's eyebrows furrowed slightly and his lips thinned, but he decided to not press on the matter. His cold eyes continued to watch Nidia's slender figure as she walked into the side entrance of the hospital.
Nidia immediately rushed upstairs. She didn't want Grandma to worry.
Originally, she wanted to give Grandma a call on the way to the hospital. She wanted to inform Grandma that something happened and caused a delay in her arrival.
