Her voice was loud enough for the customers around them to hear her.
They began to talk among themselves in hushed voices.
"Is this a meeting between the mistress and the wife? Wow... That's thrilling!"
After Nidia finished her sentence, she put down her cup and left the cafe.
Daisy was left behind to clear up the mess. Some people were even pointing fingers at her, calling her the mistress.
"I have to teach that woman a lesson!" Sandra scolded in frustration. She grabbed a cup of coffee and was about to chase after Nidia when Daisy's assistant stopped her.
"Mrs. Wilson! Please calm down. Are you trying to attract more attention? You're embarrassing your daughter!" The assistant spoke logically and managed to pacify her.
The assistant then helped Daisy wipe the spilled coffee on her. The incident was hard for her to digest.
Fortunately, she was able to swallow her anger and left the cafe.
