It was obvious from Nidia's tone that she was furious.
"We're already this miserable..." Derek's tone was calm as he repeated Nidia's words. With a faint smile, he said, "This is only the beginning. Nidia, do you really think this is the end?"
Nidia frowned and thought about what Jackson had said while he was still conscious.
