The cell phone was next to Jackson.
Nidia reached out to grab the phone by its edge. Just when she was about to get hold of it, Jackson placed his hand on the back of her hand.
Her hands trembled subconsciously.
Even though they were intimate and had skinship countless times, for some reason, Nidia's heart started to pound furiously the moment his cold fingers touch her hand.
Since she was in a hurry to answer the call, she wanted to pull her hand from his grasps.
"That's my phone," Jackson said coldly as he turned to look her in the eyes. He continued to pin her hand down forcefully.
Nidia didn't avoid his gaze.
