Looking up, Abby once again searched Nidia's face to understand what she was implying by that.
"What does this have to do with me? Why should I be worried about myself?" Abby was on the edge of despair. "Nidia, I've already been reduced to this state. What else will it take for you to forgive me? We're still sisters, even if you're not willing to acknowledge it. I'm sure Mom would want us to mend fences."
Lily gave Abby a look and snickered. "Abby, you're absolutely shameless. You're the one who did something unforgivable. Nidia isn't obliged to forgive you. Stop with your emotional blackmail!"
Nidia refused to dignify Abby with even a look. Instead, she followed Lily into the shopping mall.
Abby tried to follow them in but was blocked by Nidia's bodyguard, who then forced her to drive out of the parking lot.
