Walking through the portal, they couldn't believe what they were seeing. Buildings and cars were destroyed. This wasn't the city or world they had grown in, it was a total disaster. They walked deeper into the area, as a screeching sound appeared and they eyed a creature as tall as a bus with ten legs and teeth shaped like cones. It croaked and ran fast as Thomas said, 'A-a-a Ogg!' and they accelerated away from the creature. It was fast but before it could capture them, Clementine saw a building and made her way to it, following her was the rest of the group.As they entered the building, Thomas and Scott were forced into a sack as the kidnappers went with them quietly, out of sight. Aries then looked around and wondered where they were when the three of them heard screaming across the building. They quickly head to the scene where they are faced with a girl screaming in fear against a monster that seemed dangerous moving closer to the girl, its mouth opening wide. Aries then made a fireball and threw it to the monster, injuring its eye. Ethan formed his beam sword and ran to the monster, jumping and stabbing it, slicing it from its head to the ground.The monster then roared, opening into two. The little girl ran to Aries, jumping into her arms. 'Woah! You are heavy,' Aries said, trying to catch her breath. Ethan then heard movement when he made light appear in the room and saw not one but thousands of people either hungry, skinny, or weak. This made their hearts sore as the people tried to avoid the light.
'What happened here?' Clementine asked as one of the people stood up, walked over to her and said, 'After the heroes had left to find Dr Robertson, more and more of the creatures came out of the portal and destroyed half of Menia. It was total destruction as millions of Menians were dying by the minute. We tried to fight for ourselves but failed. We also tried to fight-' she said, coughing.
'-them so we could eat but it was too alien and killed half of the survivors. We've tried living here of little bits and pieces of food while others were dying but what's worse- is that The Other Side might be planning to make the whole of Menia their own.'
'Wait, who is the other side?''We don't know but there are posters that appear to be appealing when speaking about them. We at this point have given up on life,' the woman said as she went and sat down.
Aries, Ethan and Clementine then huddled up as they couldn't believe what they had heard. How did this happen while they were gone? Aries then dropped a tear as fire lit on the floor. 'Sorry,' she said. Ethan then made his way to them and asked what happened to the leader of the M.E.N.S.I.O.N? and of them answered, 'They disappeared out of the blue. Once the attacks got worse, they couldn't handle the pressure of the chaos. So we presume they took the mayor and fled, leaving us the people to suffer in pain.'Ethan walked to the corner, as he let out a flood of tears.As they removed the sacks, Scott and Thomas tried to catch their breath when a group of people surrounded them, wearing a Grey mask. 'When it couldn't get worse,' Scott said as a man in a black suit made his way to the both of them. 'Well... What a delight to have two offerings to the "beasts" that await its sacrifice,' he said as his minions grabbed Thomas and Scott, dragging them out of the factory.Thomas and Scott pleaded for mercy, hoping they would understand but the leader and his men left them there. They then heard the brawl of the creatures as it saw them and all of those monsters ran towards them. Thomas and Scott screamed for help but the leader smiled looking at them. Thomas was scared. He didn't know what to do.His powers started to react as he closed his eyes and the electricity made its way through the lines, striking the creatures as they exploded. The leader was shocked. He couldn't believe what he saw. He immediately commanded his men to go and bring the both of them back, locking them in a secure room.Thomas and Scott, finally seeing each other held hands but were disturbed when the leader entered the premises, looking rather happy. 'I must say, you two are very unique but yet you can be useful. We want the whole of Menia to be ours and with our abilities, I will destroy or end anything that comes in my way. The other side will be on everyone's wide,' He said, almost walking away when Scott said, 'Oh no, what if he finds Clementine's powers locked back at the M.E.N.S.I.O.N building.'The leader then looked at his men as they took Scott and Thomas, making their way to the building.Clementine then asks the group if they perhaps know where the Menia building is and they answer, 'It's not far but only a couple walks ahead.' 'Thanks. We'll be back to help you all,' She said as the three of them made their way to the building.They arrived but we flummoxed at the view of MENSION. It had been destroyed and also filled with hungry creatures lurking for food. They moved swiftly and quietly, as they had made it to the building, Clementine burst with joy, eyeing her powers. They glowed from the distance but she was hesitant. Clementine ran as fast as she could but was stopped by roots which grabbed her by her ankle and pulled her to the ground. They were surprised. They couldn't believe what they saw.In the distance, they heard a laugh as he made his way to them. 'I must say, they look beautiful from the distance, don't you agree.' 'DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH THEM!' Clementine yelled. 'Too late!' he said, placing his hands towards the powers and they entered him, turning his veins dark and his eyes as well. He screamed and an explosion of darkness took over the room.He was floating as the laugh he was giving became strong. He introduced himself as Sprit as he whispered a spell and the building began to collapse. Aries instantly morphed into her Ultimate form as she grabbed Ethan and Aries, escaping from the event. Scott made roots shield around the rest of the people as Spirit said, 'Let the war begin.'
