Trik quietly followed Tymon as he led them to his home. He couldn't bring himself to accept Tymon. The guy had no experience as a Primordial, but he's supposed to help stop Greed and Despair? Supreme Primordial or not, Trik couldn't see that happening.
Something about what's going on just feels off to him, and Tymon will undoubtedly become a liability.
"This is not how I imagined the team starting," Trik thought to himself.
Trik thought they'd find Death, mature and powerful, sealed somewhere or lurking in a mysterious cave after disappearing for two centuries. Something along those lines. He did not expect to find someone around the same age as Lisa who knew nothing about anything connected to Primordials.
Trik found himself spacing out, spiraling deeper into his thoughts.
"Thankfully, we don't have to rely on him solely," he continued. They'll go find another Primordial after taking Tymon back to HQ. The others have been around for a while, so they'll have a better grasp on their abilities. They may even know something about these new Primordials.
All he has to do is be patient and let Alissia get Tymon some training. Then, they can go find someone more established and reliable to aid them.
Trik's musing was interrupted when he felt himself bump into something.
"Um, Trik?" he heard Alissia say.
When his vision focused, he saw Tymon standing in front of him, holding him at arm's length while Alissia stood beside him.
They both were staring for some reason.
"Sorry, I must've spaced out," Trik said to Tymon as he shook himself free.
Alissia started smiling.
"Trik, you started randomly talking fast, like you hit fast forward on your speech. Did you malfunction or something?"
"No," Trik answered. "I told you, I just spaced out."
"I don't know," Alissia said jokingly, "I could've sworn I saw your head twitching with sparks coming out your ports."
"Shut up," Trik retorted.
Trik turned his attention to Tymon.
"How close are we to this house of yours, Mr. Kage?" he asked.
"We're here," Tymon responded.
Behind Tymon was a large two-story house. It had black frames and grey brick as its exterior. The roof was made from dark tiles but most of it was covered by the solar panels that were set up. Judging from the size of the house it could easily be a four-bedroom, three-bathroom house. Something someone with a lot of money might have. The house had a large black metal gate built around it with about an acre of land between it and the house. There was no grass or plants on the land, just concrete, two parking spots, and a dark road for cars.
"Guess it makes sense not to have any plants around," Trik thought.
Looking around Trik noticed they were in an open and uninhabited area. The house was the only thing that could be seen for miles.
How long had he been spaced out? He hadn't even noticed them leave the forest.
"Are you rich by any chance," Alissia asked Tymon.
Tymon laughed a little.
"No, it's kind of hard getting a job when you can't be around people," he replied while leading them to the front door. "The house was a gift from an ancestor...who I just realized was probably me from my previous life. Some realtor found me after I turned 18 and gave me the house and a car with a card that had my name on it and the initials 'T.K.' as its sender. Considering I'm a Primordial my only ancestor would be the previous me. But a friend of mine helped with the renovations. Actually she insisted."
"That's some friend," Trik stated while looking around.
The inside of the house looked more expensive than the outside did. Once inside, there was a long corridor with white tiles on the floor and beyond that was a large living room area. In the middle of the corridor, to the left was a single white door.
Tymon led us inside it.
Inside it was a large room with a lavish bathroom attached to its far right.
"This'll be your guys' room tonight. Since it's dark out we can head out in the morning," Tymon said.
Wait, what?
"Are you saying we'll be sharing a room?" Trik asked.
"You'll have to. There are only three bedrooms: one's mine and one's for my friend when she visits. They're upstairs. This is the remaining one," Tymon stated.
Trik really wanted his own room, but he knew he'd just have to settle with sharing for the night.
"She should be here soon. I'll be in the living room. You're welcome to explore the house if you want and there's food in the kitchen if you get hungry," Tymon said as he left the room.
After a moment of silence, Alissia spoke.
"Well, I'm about to take a well-needed shower," She declared as she headed toward the bathroom.
Before entering she turned around and glared at Trik.
"What?" he asked.
"Don't piss Tymon off," she said.
Trik waved her off.
"Yeah, yeah. Don't anger the god, got it," he replied.
"I'm serious Trik. I don't wanna come out the bathroom to see you've been destroyed because you didn't like how the forks and spoons were stored together instead of apart."
"I hope he doesn't store them together..." Trik stated, expressing a little concern.
"Trik."
"I'm kidding. I'm not going to bother him," Trik promised.
With that, Alissia went to take a shower, leaving Trik alone.
Trik decided to go look around.
Leaving the room, Trik turned right, heading back towards the front door. On his left, there was a pair of transparent double doors that lead to a dining area with a grey marble table and dark chairs placed in the center.
From inside the dining room, Trik walked to the other entrance of the dining area that was diagonal to his left.
He entered a large kitchen with a state-of-the-art stove, microwave, and refrigerator. The counters were made from the same marble as the dining room table, the cabinets were electronic and slid open when it sensed your hand, and the floor was polished mahogany.
Trik had to admit this was a beautiful home.
Out of curiosity, Trik searched the drawers for the silverware. When he found them, he was pleasantly surprised to see the spoons separated from the forks. Not only that but the big forks and spoons were also separated from the little forks and spoons.
"At least he's organized," Trik thought to himself.
Continuing, beyond the kitchen was another entrance to the living room. Tymon had a large L-shaped black couch with a huge entertainment system mounted to the wall. There was a red-marbled mini table placed between the couch and the entertainment system, which seemed a little misplaced. He also had a library in the right corner of the living room.
Before Trik could move to see what books Tymon possessed, he realized a signature of another Primordial had been steadily approaching them.
After focusing on the readings, he recognized the signature was Fury's. Judging from the speed Trik guessed the Primordial must've been driving a car.
After a moment the signature reached the house.
Tymon had already gotten up and headed towards the door. At first, Trik figured Tymon must've sensed Fury approaching, but considering his reaction, Tymon must not be aware that its Fury who'd just arrived.
Trik tried sensing the energy being emitted from Fury. Sure enough, it was low enough to be mistaken for a human.
Why was Fury pretending to be human?
Tymon opened the door.
Standing on the other side was a very attractive woman. She was about 5'10", had long, black curly hair with red streaks, and light grey eyes. Her skin was the color of hazelnut and appeared to be smooth enough that it could be frictionless. When a breeze came into the house, Trik caught a scent of vanilla and a light cocoa fragrance. She wore dark sneakers, black jeans, a red shirt, and a short black denim jacket that stopped at her midriff.
Everything about her presence from her looks to the way she smelled was enticing, even to Trik.
"Huh, they both like black," Trik thought to himself. "Or is she wearing it because he likes black?"
"Hi, Tymon!" she said excitedly in a sweet voice as she came in and hugged Tymon.
"Hey, it's been a few days," Tymon said. He then complimented her on her appearance which she seemed to enjoy.
From what Trik could tell, this was the friend who helped Tymon renovate his home, has her own room upstairs, and dressed in a way that pleases Tymon.
"So, she has a thing for Tymon," Trik deduced. "But that doesn't explain why she's pretending to be human..."
She looked down the corridor into the living room and stared directly at Trik.
"Who's this," she asked as she approached Trik. "And how come he's floating?"
"That's Trik. He's an AI or something. He and his partner are helping me with something, but I'll explain that later when she gets out of the shower." Tymon replied.
The woman held her hand out to Trik.
"Hi, I'm Za'Fia Akrosa," she said introducing herself.
Trik found this situation weird. Should he just play along or announce she's the Supreme Primordial Fury?
For now, he'll play along and consult with Alissia when she comes out.
Trik grabbed Za'Fia's hand.
"Hi Ms. Akrosa, I'm Trik. It's a pleasure to meet you." Trik said.
We heard the front door open and saw Tymon go outside. He had a large bag in his hand, so Trik assumed he was taking out the trash.
Once the door shut, Trik felt Za'Fia's grip tighten around his hand.
"Uh, Ms. Akrosa, are yoโ"
"Cut the crap," he heard her say.
When he looked up at her, her once grey eyes were now peering down at him with a searing red-orange glow like there were flames in her eyes.
"I know what you are," Za'Fia stated. "So, I know that you know who I am. The thing is..."
"Ms. Akrosa could you leโ"
Her grip got tighter.
"Don't interrupt me again," she demanded. "As I was saying, thing is, I don't want Tymon to know. I have my own personal reasons, but the main reason is because something bad happened to him 200 years ago. I don't know what, but it caused him to disappear for 2 centuries. After coming across him a couple of years ago I realized he wasn't aware of who he was, so I've been looking after him. Until I figure out what happened to him, I'm not letting him get involved as a Primordial. I don't even want him to know that I'm one. That means you need to keep your mouth shut about me. Tell anyone and I'll incinerate you. Tell Tymon and I'll do the same to that girl in the bathroom. You understand?"
"Y-Yes," Trik answered nervously.
"Oh, and thanks for helping him suppress his spirit energy. I couldn't teach him without revealing who I am." Za'Fia said.
Tymon came back into the house.
When he approached them, he said, "You ok, Trik?"
"What? Um, yeah. Just...lost in thought," Trik replied as he tried not to seem nervous.
"Right..." Tymon said.
Just then the door to Trik and Alissia's bedroom opened.
"Finally," thought Trik.
