Chapter 2 - Aria Nightingale

"May the light of the moon guide us," Aria repeated, smiling at Naoya.

Naoya was caught off guard by Aria's sudden appearance. "Uh, what? Where am I?" she asked, looking around his room.

Aria noticed Naoya and asked, "Are you the summoner that summoned me here?"

Naoya hesitated for a moment before responding, "Uh, please wait here for a moment."

He quickly left the room and went to the bathroom to splash some water on his face. As he looked in the mirror, he couldn't believe what had just happened. He had summoned Aria Nightingale, the lunar princess from Fantasia Chronicle RPG. He shook his head, trying to snap out of it, and returned to his room.

"She's still there!" He says in his mind then clears his throat.

"Wait, tell me...is your name Aria Nightingale?" Naoya asked, trying to confirm his suspicions.

Aria nodded with a smile. "Yes, I am Aria Nightingale. So, you are my summoner! Tell me, what is your name?"

Naoya took a deep breath before responding. "I'm Naoya," he said, still in disbelief. "And you're that lunar princess, right?

Aria giggled. "My, you sure know a lot about me, don't you?"

"Well, I may have done some research on the gaming forum, I know your birthday, your country, your powers, your family's name..." He says in his mind. "As if I could say that to her!"

Naoya sat back down in front of his computer and searched the internet for any information on the bug that caused Aria to be summoned to the real world. He typed in "Fantasia Chronicle RPG bugs," but the search results showed nothing relevant.

"Ugh, what's going on?" he muttered to himself, feeling increasingly frustrated.

He leaned back in his chair and stared at the screen, trying to figure out what to do next. He couldn't believe that he had actually summoned Aria Nightingale, the lunar princess from a gacha game It all seemed so surreal.

As he sat there lost in thought, he suddenly heard Aria's voice behind him.

"Is everything alright, Naoya?" she asked, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.

Is everything alright, Naoya?" she asked, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"Woah! You startled me," Naoya said, turning his head to look at her.

"S-Sorry, I just noticed you were making a serious face and I thought I could help lighten your mood in some way," Aria replied with a gentle smile.

"It's okay," Naoya sighed as he lay down on his bed. "Aria, could you please turn off the lights?"

"Of course, Summoner," Aria said, looking around the room, realizing that she didn't know how to turn off the lights.

"Summoner Naoya, may I ask how to turn off the lights?" Aria asked politely.

"Hmm? Just see that switch near the door? Flip it upwards and that should do it," Naoya replied.

"Ahh, I see," Aria said, heading to the switch and flipping it upwards. The room was suddenly enveloped in darkness, except for the light emanating from Naoya's PC.

"Whoa! What kind of magic is this!? Everything went dark all of a sudden!" Aria exclaimed in surprise.

"This is all just a dream, I am dreaming." Naoya still can't accept reality as he just sleeps throughout the night. Aria then also lays down beside Naoya slowly.

"Goodnight~" Aria whispers softly before closing her eyes.

The next morning, Naoya wakes up to the sound of his alarm clock. He stretches and rubs his eyes, still feeling a bit groggy. As he gets out of bed, he notices that Aria is still sleeping beside him.

He touches his clothes to see if he did something to her.

"I didn't do anything to her, did I?" He asks himself in his mind.

"Mmmm? Good morning, Summoner Naoya!" Aria sits up from the bed and yawns.

"Hm? What's wrong?" Aria asks with her head slight tilt in confusion

Naoya is in a state of disbelief but eventually accepts reality as he sighs. "I need to know how I got Aria out of the 3D world instead of the 2D world.

"N-Nothing..." Naoya responds with a hint of nervousness, trying to hide the fact that he was just checking if he did anything to Aria. As they make their way downstairs to the kitchen, Aria follows him, still looking a bit confused.

"Oh? Summoner Naoya knows how to cook?" Aria says with surprise in her voice.

"Of course, I live alone after all," Naoya says with a small smile, feeling a bit proud of his cooking skills.

"Hm? Where're your parents?" Aria asks, her head tilting slightly in confusion.

"They're working abroad," Naoya responds, feeling a twinge of sadness in his chest as he thinks about his distant parents.

"Hm? Abroad?" Aria questions, her curiosity piqued.

"How do I say this... They work far away from here," Naoya explains, trying to keep the details to a minimum.

"Ohhh, I see... At least Summoner Naoya knows how to be responsible when it comes to savings!" Aria compliments, her tone laced with admiration.

Naoya pauses for a bit as he felt a slight pang of guilt from Aria's words. Why? The truth is Naoya spends half of his savings from his parents on Fantasia Chronicle RPG. He felt a mix of embarrassment and guilt as he tries to hide his secret from Aria.

He starts cooking for two, for him and for Aria. After a minute, he serves the breakfast on the plate and places it on the table. "Thank you for the food," Naoya says as he finishes praying.

Naoya starts eating, followed by Aria who exclaims, "Mmmmm~ This food is delicious Summoner Naoya!"

"Heh~ That's just breakfast," Naoya responds.

Aria's eyes light up with excitement. "Oh, then...that means you can cook more later?"

Naoya's expression changes as he remembers he has school. "Well, actually, I have school."

"School? Actually, I go to school too!" Aria says cheerfully.

Naoya looks away for a second, thinking to himself, "Well, you're a lunar princess who escapes from your castle and pretends to be a student on Earth. That's what the lore said."

"Oh, wait... Actually, are you going to follow me the entire time?"

Aria blinked at Naoya's question, taken aback by his sudden inquiry. "That's right," she replied with a sweet smile, "you are my summoner after all...unless you don't want me to?"

Naoya hesitated, his expression uncertain. "...But I'm worried," he admitted after a moment.

"Eh? Summoner Naoya is worried about me? That's kind of you!" Aria's eyes lit up with surprise and gratitude, touched by his concern for her well-being.

"No, I'm worried that you don't know about technology. You might accidentally start a fire." Naoya says in his mind.

"Then can I go to your school?" Aria asked eagerly, her eyes shining with excitement.

Naoya was momentarily stumped by the question. "Eh? But you don't have a unifo-" He trailed off, his face lighting up as he remembered something.

"Ahhh! The school uniform skin!" Naoya exclaimed, rushing to his room and grabbing his phone from the bed. He quickly opened up the Fantasia Chronicle RPG, feeling a surge of excitement at the prospect of playing with Aria.

"I have a lot of Chronos anyway," he said, as he navigated to the shop system and pressed the purchase button on Aria Nightingale's skin. He felt a twinge of guilt at spending his chronos.

"For Aria." He then heads downstairs with his phone and turns to Aria. "Here we go." Naoya presses the uniform skin on Aria Nightingale's profile status.

For a moment, Aria's clothes turn bright and eventually turn into a school uniform. "Woah~ This is pretty! Thank you, Naoya!"

Naoya smiles at Aria's excitement, feeling a sense of satisfaction from making her happy. "Glad you like it."

Aria then hugs Naoya tightly. "Thank you, Naoya!"

Naoya's heart skips a beat as he feels Aria's soft chest against his body, causing him to blush. "Awawawa, she's hugging me! Her chest is so soft... No, wait, what am I saying!?" he thinks to himself.

After that, we both start heading to school, but there's a slight problem - Aria and I are both standing out!
