Chapter 47 - 10 Hours Before The Carnage (4)

"Dila."

The voice sounded like it came from the depths of hell, causing the hairs on Anton and his team's necks to stand on end. But Dila kept her gentle smile from fading.

They were currently within RPG-30 shooting range, but at this distance, the RPG-30's blast would not hit them. Anton decided to approach Subject-45 only from a safe distance. If something happened, the first thing they would do is shoot it with a special tranquilizer bullet.

If the special tranquilizer bullet failed to neutralize Subject-45, they had no choice but to destroy it with the RPG-30. Anton only needed to write a mission failure report and accept a demotion, which was still better than death.

But it seemed that Dila had other ideas. With her arms outstretched in a non-threatening gesture, Dila maintained her smile and walked towards the giant red monster. Parna and other team members tried to stop her, but they were too late as Dila suddenly moved.

"Yes, I am Dila. I will not hurt you," she said softly.

"Dila," Subject-45 repeated the name with its eyes still fixed.

"Hehehe...you are very smart indeed, you still remember me."

"Dila."

"Yes, it's me, Dila. You stay there, okay? I'll be there soon. Do you want some chocolate? I came to bring you some chocolate."

"Dila."

"Yes, I'm Dila. Are you okay? Everything will be okay. Don't be afraid, we won't hurt you." Dila continued to approach and was only a few steps away from Subject-45.

"I'm not afraid," Subject-45 did not move its eyes, still staring fixedly.

"You're right, you're not afraid, you are a brave soldier. Relax, everything will be okay. You won't feel any pain again." Dila continued to approach, and she was only two steps away from Subject-45.

"Pain."

"Yes, I know you're in pain. You will be okay, I will make sure you won't feel pain again. Relax, Subject-45." Dila was now close enough to touch Subject-45 if she stretched out her hand.

Anton and the other two team members were stunned to see Dila approach Subject-45. They breathed a sigh of relief, feeling that the emergency situation would soon be over. A feeling of happiness filled Anton's heart as he imagined the achievement they would make when he reported this incident.

Anton seemed to forget the dozens of dead crew members lying around them. But before he could daydream any further, something happened.

"Subject-45?" For the first time, an expression appeared on Subject-45's fixed face.

It was a mocking smirk.

"Ah--"

Before anyone could react, the large hand of Subject-45 reached out and squeezed Dila's neck. Easily, he lifted Dila's body as if he was picking up a small cat.

"Subject-45? It seems like I'm just that in your heart. But the reality is that you're wrong!" a string of words that would be impossible to utter by someone mentally weak was heard.

"Ackkck"

Dila's eyes widened in disbelief at what she was hearing and seeing. Her airway was blocked, making her unable to speak, and her face grew pale as her blood flow was cut off.

"SHIT!" Doly cursed.

"DILA!" Parna exclaimed.

"Shoot! Shoot! Shoot that monster!" the order was given.

"But, Sir. We might hit Dila!"

"It seems like you've forgotten my real name. Don't you remember who is standing in front of you? Let me remind you."

Subject-45's left hand held Dila's shoulder while his right hand continued to grip her neck tightly. Although he could easily snap Dila's neck, he didn't want her suffering to end so easily.

"Shit! Dila!"

"I don't care! Shoot this monster! This is an order! Shoot!"

"Arrghh!!!!!"

*BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG!

Bullet after bullet was fired in a fraction of a second, pelting Subject-45 and Dila who was in his grasp. However, before the bullets could hit Dila, Subject-45 swiftly turned to shield her with his back.

Those special bullets managed to pierce through his thick skin, and the tranquilizer inside quickly entered Subject-45's body. Anton and his team waited for the tranquilizer to take effect, but the reality exceeded their worst nightmares.

Subject-45 shielded Dila with his back not to protect her but because he knew the bullets contained tranquilizers. He didn't want Dila to not feel what he was about to do to her next.

"My name is Feldy. Feldy Schalange! Remember my name well in your next life!"

With that, Feldy pulled out Dila's head, separating her head from her body with the spinal cord dangling in the air. Blood spurted out of her body like a red fountain.

Feldy enjoyed the rain of blood pelting his body. He closed his eyes, imagining the look of pain on Dila's face as he ripped her head from her body. Once again, he had successfully shared his pain with another person, and that person had been the closest to him.

Feldy gazed at the beautiful face of Dila's severed head. When his mind was still hazy, he had always stared at her red and sexy lips. At that time, he didn't understand what he felt.

With his low thinking ability, Feldy considered Dila's lips as a tasty candy. He was always curious about what that red candy felt like.

And now...

* Smack!

Fiercely, Feldy kissed and savored Dila's lips, feeling the softness of her lips that began to stiffen. After satisfying his curiosity, Feldy looked at Dila's lulling tongue and her still wide eyes.

"As I thought, this candy is really delicious!"

Anton, Doly, and Parna could only watch with wide eyes as the red monster molested the lips of their colleague from the head he had just brutally severed. Their bodies trembled with horror that they had never imagined before.

"SHOOT THAT MONSTER!!! DESTROY HIM!" Anton quickly regained his bearing and gave the order.

*BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG! *BANG!

Bullet after bullet was fired from their rifles, penetrating Feldy's thick skin and injecting him with the tranquilizer. However, it seemed to have no effect on Feldy, who smiled at the futile efforts of the three in front of him.

He used to be afraid of these three people, especially Parna, who always looked at him with contempt. But now, he only felt pity for the weak humans who couldn't do anything to him. Feldy intended to give them the pain of death as a thank-you for how they treated him all this time.

Seeing that their tranquilizer bullets were completely ineffective, regret began to creep in because they had decided not to bring armor-piercing bullets. Even so, they had another weapon that was sure to destroy Subject-45.

RPG-30.

A portable anti-tank missile weapon that was a development of the RPG-28 "Klyukva". Like the RPG-28, this weapon can carry a tandem warhead, consisting of a main warhead and a penetrator warhead. When fired, the main warhead explodes at a safe distance from the operator, while the penetrator continues its journey to the target, penetrating armor and exploding inside.

But the difference is that RPG-30 is developed to target individuals rather than armored tanks. With more concentrated and multiple-fold explosive power, RPG-30 is guaranteed to destroy anything into ashes, especially if the target is a carbon-based organism.

This was the last weapon that Esyha I had given Anton and his team if Subject-45 could no longer be controlled. Anton and Doly were busy giving diversionary shots while Parna prepared the RPG-30.

Feldy sensed the danger of the weapon in Parna's hands. He knew that although he was immune to bullets, the weapon would still be able to incinerate him into ashes. Even so, Feldy ignored it and just smiled, waiting for Parna to fire the weapon.

"FIRE!"

The RPG-30 bullet shot off very quickly, and in a blink of an eye, it had reached Feldy.

*BOOOOMMMMM!!!

A huge explosion occurred, shaking the entire ship and melting the metal around the blast area. The hot air touched Anton's face, even though he was in a safe area during the explosion. Anton shielded his eyes with his hand to avoid being affected by the heat, unable to see the effects of the explosion clearly.

After the hot air subsided and was blown away by the strong sea breeze, Anton could finally see clearly. The steel deck floor of the ship had melted, creating a hole that connected to the floor below. Some of the iron containers inside also melted, and the wooden boxes containing goods burned intensely.

He did not see Subject-45's body, but he was not too worried about the target surviving. The RPG-30 experiment fired at an animal, causing its body to evaporate into small pieces like flying dust. The RPG-30 was designed specifically for carbon-based targets, with a large blast area that made it deadly in ground battles. Nevertheless, he still needed to check the situation using the detectors in the monitor room.

Connecting with the radio in his hand, Anton asked, "Check the target's condition."

Shortly after, he received a reply from the monitoring room, "The heat detectors were slightly disturbed by the RPG-30 explosion, but based on our motion detectors, we did not detect any movement around the blast area. For now, until life detection can be used, the target is confirmed to have been eliminated."

Hearing that, Anton could breathe a sigh of relief. Tonight, he was truly shown the real horror of the CP-190 experiment. Someone who used to be an ordinary human was now capable of doing what only a hero in a comic book could do.

"But it's all over now." Is this what you're thinking, Captain?" A hoarse voice that sounded like it came from the depths of hell was heard from behind them.

Anton and the two remaining members of his team quickly turned around, raising their weapons. Subject-45, who they thought was dead, sat casually on a container, looking at them with a sarcastic grin.

"Well... you guys are very disappointing. How could you even think that I could be killed by such a slow rocket? Don't you know that I can dodge bullets? Hahahahaha."

Anton couldn't say anything and could only stare silently as Feldy sneered at them.

"Ah... we might as well end this game."

At the same time, Subject-45 disappeared from their sight. A split second later, everything went dark.
