Chapter 14 - Twin World Universe

Age: 5 years

Del sat with his head down as he looked at the screen of a thin device the size of an adult's palm. His thumbs kept moving fast as he scrolled through the screen but not a single word was missed.

Madam Yeva called this device a Smartphone. A sophisticated tool capable of displaying various information from around the world with just a thumb movement. This Smartphone was a gift from Madam Yeva for his fifth birthday.

But to be more precise, Del got his first Smartphone after solving basic calculus problems given by Madam Yeva. So this magic tool was not a gift but just an exchange between Del who wanted to seek more knowledge and Madam Yeva who wanted to see the limit of his potential.

Blue Light shone in Del's eyes which focused on absorbing knowledge like a sponge in water. Even though his small body was feeling tired, his strong will endure it.

"Del! Stop staring at your smartphone! You will damage your eyes...."

Sister Chika came from behind and grabbed Del's phone, "It's already time for your afternoon nap"

Del rubbed his weary eyes and replied by simply nodding.

Del once again felt frustrated with his very weak body. He really wanted to start cultivating and five years old was the perfect time to form a foundation. However, until now he had yet to find any other energy equal to Qi in this world.

At first, Del thought that he had to find a certain group to start his superhuman journey but when he learned more about this world he became increasingly frustrated.

The information exchange in this world was so advanced that an event on one continent could be known by people on another continent with just a flick of a finger. So if there really was a secret superhuman group then traces of them would definitely have been found.

But all he found were some crazy people trying hard to get some attention online. It was a good thing that Del currently didn't have any money otherwise he might have been tricked by one of the crazy people who claimed to be a shaman.

After all, if there really were superhumans on par with cultivators why would they hide from the world? For cultivators, the military power of this world was laughable and ridiculous.

Shooting cultivators with nukes?

They would just fly away or cut the nuke before it explodes. With their mystic arts, the cultivators could even control the leaders of this world. The strength of a mortal could not be compared with a cultivator no matter how smart the mortal was.

Del took a deep breath and began to close his eyes. He couldn't fight Chika's nagging no matter how cleverly he used his words. It was like arguing with a wall, as Chika would force Del with her irrational logic.

Del didn't want to waste his energy on a debate that didn't really matter. In the end, after several negotiations, the two of them came to an agreement that Del could play with his smartphone for as long as he wanted, as long as it didn't intrude on his sleeping, eating, and playing with the orphanage children.

Del smiled remembering Chika's victorious face during her first victory negotiation with a five-year-old kid. He was happy living in this place and felt a serenity that he had never felt before.

Del waited for his mind to enter into delta wave but suddenly he felt something.

Del's eyes widened and he immediately sat cross-legged as he looked for the best position to meditate.

"This energy...."

Del felt it... An energy equivalent to Qi... With his experience of sensing dragon prana, Del knew that this energy was the same as Qi in this universe.

[Ding!]

[Host do you want to exchange information?]

Suddenly Gaia's Information Exchange System which had not been heard of for a long time started to appear again.

Reading the writing in the yellow box in front of his eyes, Del smiled. His gut was telling him that this new energy he was feeling was the key for him to start cultivating.

Del quickly started using the Cultivation Art that he had previously learned. This was a cultivation art that he modified himself. With this cultivation art, Del could become an Immortal Paragon again in a shorter time than in his previous life.

The new energy that he felt began to move according to his Cultivation Art but when the energy touched Del's body it suddenly disappeared.

Del felt like he was trying to hold onto smoke.

"Hmm?"

Del tried one more time, but the same thing happened. The energy simply passed through his body before disappearing without a trace. Del knew that his body didn't absorb the energy otherwise with his Immortal Paragon's soul quality and his Point Start Physique, he would definitely be able to feel it.

Del tried a third time but he still failed.

He tried using a different Cultivation Art to absorb the energy but the same thing happened.

Del didn't give up, he started using all the Cultivation Arts he knew of one by one but the same incident kept happening. This time Del really couldn't stay calm.

"What the fucking hell is happening???"

[Ding!]

[Host do you want to exchange information?]

"Gaia! What are you doing?"

[Ding!]

[Host do you want to exchange information?]

"Stop joking with me!!!"

[Ding!]

[Host do you want to exchange information?]

"Huft..."

Del knew that Gaia had reached her limits if she had one at all. It seemed that something had happened that made the knowledge in Del's memory very important to this universe.

Del calmed his emotions and began to think back calmly. He had currently been in this world for five years and he had almost reached the limit of his self-searching information. Del didn't really need Gaia at this point but the time for that was drawing near.

"Okay, I will exchange information about the basic knowledge about the Cultivation World"

[Will Host exchange basic knowledge of the Cultivation World for points?]

[Yes]

[Calculating the number of points earned....]

[Congratulations! Host has earned 346 points which can be exchanged for Gaia's knowledge]

"I want to know the basic knowledge about Gaia Universe"

[Searching for the information...]

[Information found... 180 points will be deducted, will the Host like to continue receiving this information?]

"Hmm?"

[Yes]

[Gaia Universe (According to the Asura's Record)

Universe Type: Twin World Universe/Hunter World.

Age: 2.84 billion years

Number of Galaxies: 3.98 billion galaxies

Number of Solar Systems: 366.16 billion solar systems

Number of Planets: 45.77 trillion planets

Number of Inhabited Planets: 915.4 million planets]

"... What? That's it? The hell? ugh.. What is a Twin World Universe?"

[Searching for the information...]

[Information found... 281 points will be deducted, the number of points Host has is insufficient. Does Host still wish to exchange information?]

"Exchange information about lower realm human mortals for points!"

[Calculating the number of points earned....]

[Congratulations! Host has earned 523 points which can be exchanged for Gaia's knowledge]

"What? Basic information about the entire galaxy is cheaper than information about lower realm human mortals? Hmm... it seems the number of points to be earned or used is equivalent to how detailed the information is given or desired"

[Twin World Universe, denotes a universe type that has twins in alternate dimensions. This twin has the same shape, number of galaxies, solar systems, planets, and inhabitant planets but with different forms of living creatures.

Which is called Essence and Substance part.

Both essence and substance parts will develop simultaneously under the control of the World's Will. At some point, the two parts would re-emerge and the main planet would be the place to facilitate the merger.

It is not known with certainty the reason for the initial separation of the two parts, and even this is not known by the Universe's World Will for certain. But some theories say that this happens to form a universe far more powerful and perfect than the universe in the 'Old World'.]

"Main Planet? What is the Main Planet?"

[Searching for information...]

[Information found... 386 points will be taken, will the Host continue to receive this information?]

[Yes]

[In one galaxy there is a Main Solar System, in one Main Solar System there is a Main Planet. The Main Planet is a planet chosen by the World's Will to facilitate the merger phase because it is far more perfect than the other planets in its solar system.

For this reason, this planet will become a place for portals and temporary space to form. At the time of the merger, Main Planet would be the first place to receive the biggest impact. Because of that the inhabitants of the Main Planet will receive a prior opportunity for the Tower of Ascension Phase.]

"Merging Phase? Tower of Ascension Phase? Shit... focus Del.. Focus... What is the most information that you want... This planet.. Bhumi is Main Planet?"

[Searching for information...]

[Information found... 881 points will be deducted, the number of points Host has is insufficient. Does Host wish to exchange information?]

"Fuck! You are a real shark! Exchange information about Lower Realms flora and fauna for points!"

[Calculating the number of points earned....]

[Congratulations! Host has earned 523 points which can be exchanged for Gaia's knowledge]

"Human, Animal, and Plants are the same in front of the Universe's Law huh?"

[Host has insufficient points. Does Host wish to exchange information?]

"Huft... This is a dilemma... Exchange Iron Body Martial Art and Moon-Cleave Martial Art for points!"

This was just a mortal martial art, not a cultivation art, so Del had no problem sharing it with Gaia.

[Calculating the number of points earned....]

[Congratulations! Host has earned 761 points which can be exchanged for Gaia's knowledge]

"Wow!"

[Bhumi Planet is the Main Planet of the Solis Solar System!]

"As I thought" Del smirked a little happy that his gut feeling was right. The moment he sensed that new energy, he already knew trouble was coming.

Del looked out the window, the Flower Garden Orphanage was so quiet this afternoon. Due to the sun shining brightly the green grass was glistening. Perhaps not only was this place serene but so was the rest of the world.

Apart from some unfortunate places where humans could vent their cruel desires, this world was very calm.

Del's smile widened as he imagined how this peaceful world would be full of suffering when the creatures from the other world came to attack.

Del again exchanged two mortal martial arts before asking "How long until the connecting portal on Bhumi opens?"

[Searching for the information...]

[13 years before the first portal opens]

Hehehehe...
