As if awakened from a dream, Kylia was startled and panicked. She looked towards the aftermath of the battle, now resembling scorched earth.
In a panic, Kylia immediately rushed towards the pile of charred corpses. She felt only the dry floor beneath her feet, no longer the slippery floor covered in blood as before. When she reached the two ogre carcasses, Kylia frantically searched and knelt down, trying to find any remaining traces of blood.
But she found nothing. As Del had said, the ogres' blood had evaporated due to the intense heat of the fireball. However, Kylia didn't give up immediately. She assumed a meditative position and attempted to cultivate.
