Kylia remained at a safe distance as the blood spurted from the ogre's abdomen. She showed no reaction and simply stared as if observing a fountain of water.
The ogre's body fell heavily to the floor with a thud. Its muscles still twitched as the nervous system continued to be tormented by the poison from the Poison Spear.
Kylia paid it no mind and walked past the lifeless ogre's corpse. Amara, pale-faced from mana exhaustion, followed Kylia from behind, staggering. However, the other two students remained frozen, gazing at the still-weak Jaka.
Ava continued channeling her mana to Jaka, trying to save him despite her pale complexion. Anton could only bow his head, tightly gripping the iron in his hand, his face wrinkled with worry.
"What's the matter?" Kylia asked, sensing that the two students weren't following her.
"I can't heal him," Ava said sadly.
