S-19 gazed at the city below, with the jetpack on their back being the only barrier between them and the apocalypse unfolding beneath. Now, S-19 understood why Del had said it was futile to sell them to other countries or use them as research subjects.
Because what was happening below could no longer be rationalized with common sense.
Tall buildings crumbled, houses burned, beautiful pools evaporated, and people ran about like scattered insects. Apocalypse was the most fitting word to describe the horrifying state of the city.
"S-19, stay focused. We'll soon enter the Teduh City area. The Leader mentioned sightings of wyverns in Teduh City. We still don't know if the Teduh City armed forces can defeat them or not. So be prepared for aerial combat," S-29's voice came through the radio connected to S-19's ear.
"Roger," S-19 replied.
