After a week of intense training with Jose, Javier felt like he was ready for anything. He was excited to start his new mission and meet his team, but he was also a little nervous.
He arrived at the headquarters early in the morning, ready to meet his new team. As he walked through the halls, he could feel the energy of the place. There were people everywhere, working on different projects, and preparing for missions.
Javier finally reached the meeting room and saw his new team waiting for him. They were all wearing black uniforms, and each of them had a different emblem on their chest.
"Good morning, Javier," said a woman with short black hair. "I'm Andrea, and I'll be your team leader."
Javier looked around the room and saw six other people, including Andrea. They all looked at him with curious eyes.
"I'm excited to work with all of you," said Javier.
Andrea nodded. "Let me introduce you to the team. This is John, our weapons specialist, and this is Maria, our tech expert."
John and Maria waved at Javier, and he smiled back.
"And this is Carlos, our strategist, and Sonia, our reconnaissance expert," Andrea continued, pointing to the other two members of the team.
Javier shook their hands and noticed that they were all very skilled in their respective fields.
"And finally, this is Luis, our medic," Andrea said, gesturing to the last person in the room.
Javier smiled at Luis. "It's good to know that we have a medic on the team."
Andrea stood up and walked to the front of the room. "Now that we're all acquainted, let's get down to business. Javier, you'll be working with us on a new mission."
Javier leaned forward, eager to hear more.
"We've received intel that there's a dangerous group of awakened individuals operating in the Philippines," Andrea explained. "They've been causing chaos and destruction wherever they go, and it's our job to stop them."
Javier nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "What's our plan?"
Andrea smiled. "That's what we're here to discuss. Carlos, do you have any ideas?"
Carlos cleared his throat and began to explain his plan.
Javier listened intently to the briefing, taking mental notes of the mission details. He couldn't believe he was finally going to be part of a team with the potential to change the world. His heart raced with excitement as he thought of the possibilities.
As the briefing came to an end, Javier turned to face the team he was about to work with. He was impressed with their skills and couldn't wait to learn from them. Each team member introduced themselves, and Javier felt a sense of belonging as they welcomed him into the team.
After the introductions, the team headed to the training area where Javier's training began. His first day of training was intense, but he was able to keep up, thanks to his natural ability to learn quickly. His new teammates were impressed with his progress, and they could see the potential in him.
Over the next few days, Javier trained hard and became more confident in his abilities. He found himself growing closer to his teammates, and they began to open up to him, sharing their own stories of how they became awakened.
As the days passed, Javier felt a sense of purpose he had never experienced before. He was no longer alone and was part of something bigger than himself. He had found a family in his new teammates and was determined to help them achieve their mission.
Javier nodded and looked at the other members of the team. They all seemed strong and capable, and he was eager to start training with them.
Over the next few days, Javier spent most of his time training with the team. He worked on honing his combat skills and learning new techniques. He was amazed at how quickly he was able to pick up new skills and techniques. It was as if he had been born to do this.
One day, as he was training with the team, he noticed something strange. One of the other members, a girl named Amara, seemed to be holding back. She wasn't using all of her strength, and Javier could tell that she was purposely not hitting him as hard as she could.
Javier decided to confront Amara about it after training. "Why are you holding back?" he asked.
Amara looked surprised. "What do you mean?"
"I mean during training. You're not using all of your strength," Javier said.
Amara hesitated for a moment before answering. "I don't want to hurt you," she said finally.
Javier laughed. "Don't worry about me. I can take it. Besides, how am I supposed to get better if you're not giving it your all?"
Amara looked at him for a moment before nodding. From that day on, she started using all of her strength during training, and Javier was able to improve even faster.
