"That was just a fluke," Anthony argued. How could he believe what he was seeing? There simply was no way anyone could see through Damien's insidious ability.
"Then let's keep watching," Darius chirped again.
Anthony didn't like the chipper tone in his voice but the curiosity to see whether Arthur had really blocked Damien's attack was greater than his irritation so they all turned their eyes back to the fight.
Out of everyone, Damien was shocked the most to find that his attack had been blocked. It was like the boy had actually seen him, "How can you see me?"
"Hmm… Trying to distract me won't work. You know I can't see you," Arthur countered.
The shifter's voice had come from all sides and Arthur didn't know whether it was real or not. Looking around, he hoped to hear Damien's voice again. But voice didn't return…
Instead, a hit came from the left of his stomach and yet his body reeled to the right.
